Howard Price

Howard D. Price, age 58, of Huntingdon, Tenn. died Aug. 27, 2011, at home. Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Bro. Billy Ray Eaton officiating. Burial will follow in Big Hurricane Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be tonight from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard Clifford Price and Malissia Camp Price; his brothers, Melvin Price and Lawrence Price; and his sisters, Dorothy Dozier, Elizabeth Price, and Emma Grissom. Survivors include his wife, Kathy Kelley Price; daughters, Shar Owens (Mark), Carolyn Edwards (Alan), Teresa Price, Renae Price, Jamie Westbrook (Tim), Jennifer Rigdon, and Candace Price; sons, Michael Price (Nikki), Howard Price, Triston Price, and Clifford Price; sisters, Bonnie Greek and Evelyn Phillips (Bud); and grandchildren, Tiffani Hurley (Lee), Jesse Sellers, Hunter Wheat, Tyler Price, Desiree Price, Emily Wheat, Zachary Price, Cody Wickliffe, Hannah Grace Foley, and Brillian Westbrook. Howard was born Feb. 3, 1953, in a small town in Tennessee. As he got older, he moved around a lot but was always well-known wherever he was. He was always helping people, even those he didn't know. He enjoyed driving his 18-wheeler cross-country, but when he was home, he spent time with his family. He loved to coach baseball. He also loved the Lord and was an ordained minister. Howard was a loving husband, dad, granddaddy, and friend. He will be missed so much by his family and friends. Pallbearers will be Jesse Sellers, Triston Price, Clifford Price, Hunter Wheat, Tyler Price, Zachary Price, William "Bo"� Wheat, Jr., and Dillon Franklin. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Taylor, Wayne Cannon, Charles Townes, Tony Phillips, and Bill Wilder. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to any Regions Bank to the Howard Price Memorial Fund.
