Helen Walker

Helen Jacobs Walker, age 86, of Coker, passed away at home on June 16, 2025. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 23, 2025 at 11:15 a.m. at Calcedonia Cemetery in Buhl, with nephew, Elvis Pate officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Emma Jacobs; husband, Lonnie Walker; sisters, Ruth Marcum, Maudie Seale, and Mildred Pate; brother, J.W. Jacobs; and son-in-law, David St. Clair.

Survivors include her daughters, Wanda Hewitt (Jeff), and Sherry St. Clair; sister, Pauline Christian; grandchildren, Jeffrey Hewitt (Allison), Justin Hewitt (Carie), and D.J. St. Clair; great-grandkids, Elijah Hewitt, Riley Hewitt, and Paisley St. Clair; and several nephews and nieces.

She was a great mother of two daughters, grandmother to three grandsons, and great-grandmother to two great-grandsons and one great-granddaughter. She had a love for making quilts, cooking, her flowers, and spending time with loved ones. She had the most amazing love for her three grandsons and three great-grandkids.

Pallbearers will be Jeff Hewitt, Justin Hewitt, Elvis Pate, and Landon Butt.

Honorary pallbearers are Jeffrey Hewitt, D.J. St. Clair, Dr. Day and staff, outpatient Hospice nurses and staff, Amedisys staff, Glen Haven Rehab, Eddie Hamner, Randy Hamner, Woody Hamner, Donald St. Clair, Cole Hamner, and Nate Hamner.
