Gertrude Tucker

Ann Lancaster Tucker, age 78, of Tuscaloosa, died December 18th, 2020, at DCH. A graveside service will be held on December 23rd at 11:00AM at Shiloh Baptist Church in Ralph, AL, with Pastor Dan Arsenault officiating.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 45 years, Don Tucker; her mother, Elouise Lancaster; her father, Sid Lancaster; her mother-in law, Louise Tucker; her father-in-law, C.W. Tucker, her brother, Jack Lancaster; her sister-in-law, Mary Lancaster; her daughter-in-law, Kerri Tucker, and her aunts and uncles that she loved dearly.

Survivors include her son, Charles “Chuck” Tucker; her daughter, Donna Josselyn (Scott); her granddaughters, Candis Mims (Waylon); Courtney Seale (R.J.); and Sydnee Yarbrough (Randy); her grandsons, Maxwell Josselyn and Alexander Josselyn; her great grandchildren; Caleb Mims, Tucker Seale, Caylon Mims, Brighton Seale, Jaxton Seale, Brooklyn Mims, Jacob Mims, and Raelynn Yarbrough; her brother, Jerry Lancaster (Helen); and many nieces and nephews.

Ann, a graduate of Tuscaloosa County High School, Class of 1960, and a life-long member of Shiloh Baptist Church.  She loved serving her church family and was a woman of great faith. She also spent many years quilting and crocheting beautiful gifts for others. Most importantly, her proudest accomplishment was being the matriarch of her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, and great-grandmother, who was always delighted to see and spend time with her loved ones. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts until we meet again.
