Garry L. Gregg, 72 of Ralph, Alabama passed away September 18, 2026 at his home. Graveside services will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 10:00 am at Pleasant Grove Cemetery in Jena with Rev. John Brooks officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 20, 2026 at Magnolia Chapel South from 4:00 pm ~ 6:00 pm.
He is preceded in death by his parents; Clarence and Dot Gregg, brother; Roger Gregg, and his grandparents.
Survivors include his Sister-in- Law; Susan Gregg, nephews; Nathan Gregg (Gwenda), Clint Powell, nieces; Stacey Powell, Treasure Turner, Anabelle Powell, longtime friends; Diane Powell and Gail Hales.
Garry enjoyed his memberships with New Hope, Valley View, and Five Points Baptist Churches. He was a faithful friend to many, willing to help others, even strangers. He was an avid fan of Alabama Ladies Softball and Alabama Football. He was a long time member of the Alabama Cattlemens Association and he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. Many knew him as the "Honey Bun Man" by the special children who loved him.
Pallbearers are Brent Reach, Clint Powell, Nathan Gregg, Colby Hamner, Jeff Hallman, Carlton Allred. Honorary pallbearers are Fawn Allred, Lacy Quarles, Dianne Spurgin, Diane Hallman, Jimmy and Stacy Gray, Jim and Nancy Poole, Robertson BBQ Friends and Employees, Five Points Baptist Church, Valley View Baptist Church, Friends of Jens, Romulus, and Shiloh Communities, Renee McLaughlin, Denise Hataway, Hospice of West Alabama, friends and family who visited and provided food, thoughts and prayers.
