Ella Sue Elmore

Ella Sue Elmore, age 90 of Tuscaloosa, passed away peacefully on February 7, 2024 at her home. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, February 13, 2024 at 11:00 am at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery in Gordo. Magnolia Chapel South is directing.

She is preceded in death by her husband Billy Ray Elmore and her daughter; Lisa Karen Elmore.

Survivors include her daughter; Rebecca Schmitz (Peter) of Tuscaloosa, son; Billy Elmore of Northport, and special daughter; Susanne Knox (Steven), sister; Katherine Ryan of Long Beach, MS., grandchildren; Daniel Hallman of Tuscaloosa, Ethan Elmore (Nikki) of Northport and her great granddaughter; Addie Elmore of Northport.

She was a devout Christian her entire life, and a member of Taylorville Baptist Church. She had a tremendous love for her Savior, Jesus Christ, Billy her husband of 67+ years, her family and the Crimson Tide.
