Edith White

Edith S. White, age 95, of Northport, AL, passed away December 18, 2021. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, December 23, 2021, at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park with Pastor John Vaughan officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Loyd White; three sisters and one brother.

Many family members loved being blessed by “Edo”, and many other friends also. She was a great example, living the Christian life with principles of love, care, and concern for all. She exhibited the fruit of the Spirit in Galatians 5:22-23 as she walked and talked, teaching through her actions. Love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control were always a part of her life, so evident and meaningful to others. God has blessed many through the life she lived.

Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Brian Wilhite, Hospice of West Alabama, Forest Manor Health & Rehab, Pine Valley Retirement Center, neighbors, and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family encourages more special time with your family and friends, or possibly a donation to the favorite charity of your family.
