He enlisted in the Navy at a young age and traveled the world. He then followed his dream of becoming a preacher. He loved the Lord and preached his funeral through his life. He visited the Holy Land to walk even closer to God. At the beginning of his ministry he preached at a small church in Tuscaloosa County and met his future faithful and godly wife and life partner for 54 years. We look forward to meeting him at his mansion in Heaven soon. Honorary pallbearers are friends and family from the Northside community, fellow ministers too numerous to name, and all the doctors, nurses, and caregivers who have lovingly taken care of our beloved husband, father, and grandfather.
