Douglas Tippitt

Douglas Stewart Tippitt, a master plumber holding multiple certifications and licenses, passed away unexpectedly on August 18, 2022, in Tuscaloosa Alabama, at the age of 42. Douglas was a beloved son, brother, father, grandfather, uncle and friend.

Douglas is survived by his parents, Michael Tippit & Alex Wright; brothers, Shawn, Steve, and Scott Tippitt; sister, Shelly Cataleta; son, Carson Tippitt; grandson, Christian Tippitt; and nieces, Zoe Cataleta, Lacey Cataleta, and Amariah Tippitt. He was preceded in death by his wife, Nikki Tippitt, stepfather, Gary Wright, grandparents, Denny and Mary Tippitt & Charlie and Sue Pate.

Douglas was born in Knoxville, TN on September 18th, 1979. He grew up in Griffin, GA alongside his siblings before settling in Tuscaloosa, AL with his wife and mother.

Douglas enjoyed making people laugh, helping others in need, and bird watching. He loved spending time with his family, laughing and goofing off, and cuddling with his beloved kitties. He lived life to the fullest, sharing his love for God and mankind and will always be remembered for his gentle and kind spirit. Douglas will forever be missed, but his memory will live on forever in our hearts.
