Davie Glenn "Bubba" Higginbotham

Davie Glenn “Bubba” Higginbotham, age 63, of Northport, Ala., passed away September 23, 2023 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, Ala. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, September 28, 2023, at Carolwood Freewill Baptist Church Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Norred officiating and Magnolia Chapel North directing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Helen Ivey.

Survivors include his two daughters, Kristen and Rachel; one son, Davie Glenn; sisters, Helene Sanford and Cathy Norred; brothers, Johnny Higginbotham and Eddie Ivey; father, Ed Ivey; several grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Davie Glenn Higginbotham was affectionately known as “Bubba” to his family and friends. He was born in Meridian, Mississippi on June 26, 1960 and resided in Northport, Alabama. He served his country in the Alabama National Guard. Bubba was loved very much by his family and friends. He had three children and several grandchildren. He will be missed very much!

Pallbearers will be Blue Creek Realty Employees, Dennis Sanford, Jimmy Norred, and Davie Glenn Higginbotham.
