David Woods Jr.

NORTHPORT - David Gordon Woods Junior, age 64, of Northport, Ala., passed away June 28, 2019 at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019, at Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South with Rev. Jason Poole officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Hebron Baptist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. Visitation will be 12-1 p.m. Monday, July 1, 2019, at the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by Grandparents, Dewey and Mamie Woods of Akron, Ala. and Aubrey and Fannie Bell Seale of Boligee, Ala.; and daughter, Kimberly Woods of Birmingham, Ala.

Survivors include his loving wife Joycelene Cox Woods; son, Wesley Woods (Brittney) of Alabaster, Ala.; parents, David Gordon Woods, Sr. and Betty S. Woods of Akron, Ala.; sister, Betsy Arrington (Rick) of Greensboro, Ala.; brother, Dr. Mark A. Woods of Tuscaloosa, Ala.; granddaughter, Bo Blake Falgout; and is faithful dog Barley.

Pallbearers will be Wayne Perry, David Moyer, Pete Braugton, Bob Hales, Lamar Holston, Tommy Croft, Carl Evans, and Gary McCaleb.
