Daniel L. Bojo, age 76, of Northport, Ala., passed away October 22, 2025, in Northport, Ala.
Dan was born in Akron, Ohio on April 14, 1949, to Karl and Jean Bojo. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister, Diane; and brothers, Michael and Gary.
Dan was deeply devoted to God, his family, and fishing. He leaves behind a legacy of love through his wife of 54 years, Pam Bojo; daughters, Stephanie Bedsole (Gary), and Monica Davis (Clay); and grandchildren, Maddie and Garrett Bedsole. He loved spending time with his family, as well as his 4-legged rescue companions.
He was an avid fisherman, competing in numerous tournaments across the Southeast. He served as Public Relations Director in the FWJA Tournament Trail for many years prior to his retirement. He was honored when the FWJA Classic was dedicated in his name, the "Dan Bojo Memorial Classic," in Tuscaloosa. He considered all his fishing friends to be his second family.
Dan lived a full joyful life. His heart was generous and his love for family and friends unwavering. Though we will miss him deeply, we find comfort in knowing that his warmth, strength, and spirit will live in the hearts of everyone that knew him.
Honorary pallbearers are Jim Austin and the members of Fishing with Jim Austin Tournament Trail.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter.
