Claude Terrell Jackson Jr. (Terry/Pop) was born on October 29th, 1944. He died peacefully in his home on Wednesday, October 29th, 2025, after a long-fought battle with Parkinson's Disease.
He is preceded in death by his parents Claude and Guesner Jackson. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Brenda Jackson, his daughter Carla Wallace (Barry), his son Jay Jackson, his sister Elizabeth Wright (Tommy) and his grandchildren Hudson Wallace, Harper Wallace, John Thomas Jackson, and Eliza Jackson.
He graduated from Tuscaloosa County High School in 1962 and attended Livingston University. He was a proud member of the US Navy and a charter member of Saint Mark Church where he coached softball and basketball and was a youth group counselor. He was a long-time member of the Lion's Club, an avid golfer, and an enthusiastic Bama fan. His family was his world. If he wasn't bragging about his grandchildren, he was telling Auburn jokes or watching Bama play. He was a gentle giant, who never had a cross word to say to or about anyone. He will truly be missed by all who know him.
