Christopher Dankson

Christopher Scott Dankson, Sr. age 49, of Northport, Alabama, passed away June 7, 2025 at DCH Regional Medical Center. His Memorial Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Sulphur Springs Free Will Baptist Church with Bro. Mike Dankson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the church. Magnolia Chapel North is assisting the family with the final arrangements.

He was preceded in death by his mom and dad, Joyce Faye, and Thomas Lee Dankson. His uncle who raised him, John Allen Dankson, his grandparents on both sides, and his step-brother, Adam Lee.

Survivors include his loving girlfriend, Kim Tucker; daughter, Katie Bolling; sons, CJ Dankson and Cason Dankson (Savannah); step-sister, Sherry Stephens; brothers, Tim and Mike Dankson; half-brother, Joe Mckinney; step-brothers, Ron Estes, and Doug Buchanan; step-mother, Elaine Dankson; grandchildren, Rhett and Mack Bolling; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.

Chris Dankson Sr. was born December 5, 1975 in South Carolina. After relocating to Alabama, Chris grew up attending school in the community of Samantha where he graduated from Northside High School in 1994. In the years that followed, Chris joined the work force, became a father, and as we all do, endured the highs and lows of life and health. Through it all Chris never failed to draw others to him with his ever present sense of humor, contagious smile, and loving spirit. From boyhood until his last day he was making friends everywhere he went. He spent his life putting of others before himself and filling the lives of others with laughter. Chris passed into eternity on the evening of June 7th at DCH. He was 49 years old. His unexpected passing has left a void in the hearts of his family and friends that cannot be filled. He will be missed so very much and forever be loved to the moon and back.
