Charles Skelton

Charles "Ed" Skelton age 69, of Moundville, Alabama passed away June 23, 2022 at home. Services will be held on Tuesday, June 28, 2022 at 10:00 am at Magnolia Chapel South with John Bradshaw officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

He is preceded in death by his grandparents Rufus and Clevie Kelley, parents; Carolyn and Edgar Skelton, and brother John W. Skelton.

Survivors include his wife Jane L. Skelton, daughters; Alana Skelton and Taylor Skelton, sons; Charles A. Skelton (Jessie), Justin B. Skelton (Robin), sisters; Peggy McCray (Larry), Janice Neill (Ricky), grandchildren; Leslie Skelton, step-grandchildren; Daylin James, Lilley Worthington, Bradley Fondren (Elizabeth), great grandson; Carson Tucker, step great grandchildren; Lena Fondren, and Bethany Mims (Allen).

He was a loving father, husband, and grandfather, he loved fishing, hunting and being with his family.

Pallbearers will be Shane McCray, Joel McCray, Paul Dopson, Tony Camp, Greg Camp, Daylin James, and Lance McCray. Honorary pallbearers will be Larry McCray and Ricky Neill.
