Charles N. Faulk of Moundville, AL, died peacefully at the
age of 92 on July 21, 2026, surrounded by his loving family and
following a brief illness.

Born on July 8, 1934, in Selma, Alabama, Charles lived a life defined
by kindness, integrity, and devotion to those he loved. He was
gifted with a dry wit, amazing artistic ability and an abounding, yet
quiet, generosity. He graduated from Parrish High School and later
from Auburn University, where he obtained a degree in Zoology.
He also attended the University of Alabama and served honorably
as a medic in the US Army in Germany.

He was raised on a farm, which contributed to his love for
biology/zoology and led him in a career of teaching and wastewater
management. He was devoted to all things outdoors, especially fish,
reptiles, and insects. An avid fisherman, one of his favorite pastimes
was buying, collecting, and selling unique lures.

After military service, he was married to Barbara Allen and they
had 3 well-loved daughters. In 1996, Charles married Debra Boley
Lightsey. Together, in Moundville, Alabama, they shared 30 years of
love and devotion to hobbies and family. His homes were always
filled with wonder, love, and laughter.

He is preceded in death by his mother and father, John Smith Faulk,
Jr. and Anne Blythe Kirkland Faulk, of Selma, and his beloved sister,
Anne Elizabeth Kelly.

Left to cherish his memory are his devoted wife, Debra Annette Faulk;
daughters, Blythe (Gary) Christensen, Lynne (Jeff) Cannon, and
Mary Carol (Sam) Roberts, and their mother, Barbara Allen Faulk;
his step-daughter, Pamela (Scott) Blake; grandchildren, Jeffery
(Jaime) Cannon, Lindsey (Jason) Killough, James Christensen,
Anna (Cory) Christensen, Haley (Daniel) Wright, Clay (Katie) Smith,
Matthew (Carlie) Blake, Nathan (Sierra) Blake, He is also survived
by 14 great-grandchildren and a host of cousins, nephews and
nieces.

A memorial service is scheduled for Wednesday, July 29 at 2:00
p.m. at the columbarium at Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo,
Alabama; with visitation and lunch at noon at The Branch at Mission
Hills in Alabaster, Alabama.

Honorary Pallbearers: Pat Kelly, Kirk Hawley, Gregg Bennett, Duck
Ware, Sol Tepper, and Judge Dickie Norton.

His family wishes to especially thank Aspire Physical Recovery
Center of West Alabama and Hospice of West Alabama. Their
kindness and compassion brought a special comfort and peace
to family members.
