A person larger than life itself served in the Air Force where he was a Sergeant, he was a Methodist preacher, and worked for the City of Tuscaloosa until his retirement. He loved the Lord and was the best Christian that I ever knew. He loved to cook, gave it all away, could out fish most. He loved to travel, loved Gospel singing, loved his family and friends and was a wonderful caregiver. He would do anything to help anyone and would speak up and stand up for what he believed to be right. He loved flowers, birds and Christmas lights. He was known for his outstanding BBQ sauce.
He would say to you - Let me tell you about my Jesus - one more time
Honorary pallbearers are Don Wallace, Zion's Way Quartet, and Resound Trio.

He is missed! Philippians 1:3
God Needed A Flower
We all remember someone who
touched our lives so,
Then left in a twinkling of an eye,
And we wondered why God took
them away,
And we prayed, please God
show us why.
But now we know God, in His
infinite wisdom,
Has great plans to do it His way.
And He picks and He chooses
according to His needs,
Who is ready for Heaven's bouquet.
We should be thankful for the
moments we had,
for the memories of that special one.
We should not be bitter cause they're
no longer here,
But trusting in all God has done.
So let us pray for the strength to
live our lives.
In a God fearing, God pleasing way.
And when God needs another
flower in Heaven,
He'll choose us on that great
glorious day.
God needed a flower in Heaven,
So he chose the one that we love,
He wanted to brighten up Heaven,
Add beauty to the skies up above.
And he found the perfect flower
that He needed.
And although we needed them here.
God needed a flower in Heaven,
So he chose the one we loved so dear.
