Cecile Felps

Cecile H. Felps, age 89, of Moundville, died Oct. 25, 2011, at Hospice of West Alabama. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery with Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home South directing. She was preceded in death by her husband, The Rev. Aden Felps; her parents, Porter and Martha Hill; four sisters; and two brothers. Survivors include her sisters, Irene H. Lake and Martha H. Christian; and a host of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Felps spent her life serving God and others. Pallbearers will be Burton, Stanley, M.T., Stephen, Kevin, Patrick, and Terry. Honorary pallbearers are Dr. Larry Skelton, Jacob Spencer, members of Moundville and New Haven, retired employees of BF Goodrich, and her caregivers and Hospice of West Alabama. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hospice of West Alabama.
