Carrol Joy Payne Robinson, born April 6, 1948 to Dewey and Reba Wyatt Payne, passed away September 17, 2026 at Druid City Hospital. Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at 11:00 am at Five Mile Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Akron, AL. with Elder Bobby Payne officiating and Magnolia Chapel South directing. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the graveside service in the church. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, Dewey and Reba Wyatt Payne, sisters; Carolyn Lorrein Payne, Juanita Phares and Nelda Cotton, and her brother; Adolph Payne. 

Survivors include her husband Larry, daughter; Crystal Joy McKenzie (Heath), grandchildren; Mallory, Molly, and Jake McKenzie and numerous nieces and nephews.

Honorary pallbearers are doctors and staff of DCH MICU, Dr. Joshua Argo, DCH Radiology Department and Staff of Hale County Courthouse.
