Carolyn Barger TUSCALOOSA Carolyn Barger, age 63, of Tuscaloosa, died April 2, 2013, at home. Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North will announce complete funeral arrangements later. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Lathan Barger; mother, Joyce Read; father, Loman Read; and brothers, Wayne Read and Rodney Read. Survivors include her daughter, Regina Barger Jones; sister, Victoria Sturdivant; brother, Terry Read; and grandchildren, Halie Barger and Zachary Jones. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hospice of West Alabama
