Brenda Ballard

Brenda Mitchell Ballard, age 65, of Tuscaloosa, died peacefully at her home on December 10, 2021. Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday, December 15 at North River Church with Rev. Justin Olvey and Rev. Chip Riley officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday the 14th at North River Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Felton and Inez Mitchell; brother, Jimmy Mitchell; son-in-law, Adrian Frazier; brother in law, Bob Griffith; and sister in law, Sandra Averette.

Survivors include her husband of 44 years, Ronnie Ballard; three daughters, Brooke Olvey (Justin), Adrienne Hutson and Leah Frazier; grandsons, Jackson Hutson, Jace Olvey and Jacob Hutson; granddaughter Mitchell Claire Olvey; sisters, Carolyn (Emory) Rhyne, Sherry Griffith; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, in laws and dear friends.

Brenda was an x-ray and MRI tech for 35 years and used her skills in caring for her family. She enjoyed every aspect of being a girl-mom and was delighted to be "Bebe" to her grandchildren. She enjoyed planning vacations to the beach, Disney World and New Orleans. She is Ronnie Ballard's biggest fan, the first of the Ballard girls that he spoiled and the love of his life.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to North River Church.
