Barbara Sue Strickland ELROD Barbara Sue Strickland, age 64, of Elrod, died July 13, 2013, at Forest Manor Nursing Home. Graveside services will be 11 a.m. today at Moores Bridge Cemetery with Rev. Jerry Montgomery and Rev. Terry Oswalt officiating and Magnolia Chapel Funeral Home North directing. She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Strickland; her mother, Mary Lou Strickland; and her son, Dennis Strickland. Survivors include her sister, Judy Gray; and brothers, Charles David Strickland and Steve Strickland. Pallbearers will be cousins and nephews. Honorary pallbearers are Forest Manor Nursing Home and the community of Moores Bridges.
