Barbara Norris

Barbara Ann Norris, age 82, of Northport, Ala., passed away February 13, 2026 at her residence. Her Memorial Service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at St. Mark Church with Rev. Bo Lloyd officiating. Visitation will be 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at the church.

She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Chester Norris; three daughters with which she had a very special bond, Donna Donaldson (Bruce), Deborah Paulzak (Gary), and Darice Cooley. She is also survived by her granddaughter, Haley Scaggs (Neal), and great-grandson, Scout Scaggs.

Barbara spent 40 years as a cosmetologist specializing as a nail technician. During those years she acquired many close friendships that have lasted through the years.

Barbara was born in Dothan, Alabama and resided most of her life in Fort Walton Beach, Florida and Northport, Alabama. Barbara and Chester have been members of St. Mark Methodist Church in Northport since 1995 where they have received the love and care of their friends and loved ones.

Barbara enjoyed watching her hummingbirds out the kitchen window. She loved collecting hummingbird figurines, chicken figurines, Swarovski crystals, and butterfly pictures.

She also liked to go fishing.

Barbara will be greatly missed, but we know we will see her in heaven.
