Audrey Hood

Hood, Audrey - Passed away peacefully at DCH Regional Medical center in Tuscaloosa on April 29th, 2010 at the age of 98 years. Services will be Sunday May 2, 2010 at Salem Baptist Church at 2:30 in the afternoon with Rev. Joe Jones and Rev. Tommy Clements officiating. Visitation will be Saturday night from 7-9 pm at Magnolia Chapel North. Burial will follow at Salem Baptist Church Cemetery. She was predeceased by her husband Bill Hood her son-in-law T.W. Clements, brother Chester Espey and her parents B.L. and Addie Espey. She is survived and fondly remembered by her daughter Joyce Clements, son J.C. Hood (Dena), five grandchildren, three step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, three step great grandchildren, and one step great grand. Pallbearers will be Ron Kirkland Jr., John E. Walker III, Zach Clements, Jimmy Lunceford, John Walker, and Shane Naugher Honorary Pallbearers are friends and neighbors of New Lexington, comm. employees and staff of Park Manor Nursing Home, Dr. Gene Alldredge and members of Salem Baptist Church. In lieu of flowers family ask that donations be made to the Salem Baptist Church Cemetery Fund.
