Albert Harper

Albert Emmitt Harper, age 64, of Birmingham, AL, passed away August 9, 2021 at his residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church with Pastor Bill Davison officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Magnolia Chapel North directing. Visitation will be 9:30-10:00 a.m. Thursday at the church.

He was preceded in death by his father, Cecil Harper; mother, Rebecca Harper; and daughter, Jessica Diane Harper.

Survivors include his wife, Sonja Abbott Harper; daughter, Miracle Harper; sons, Steven Daniel Harper (Kristen), Mark David Harper (Jennifer), and Lee Burdett (Tammy); sister, Nancy Burke (Michael); brothers, Eddie Harper, Alan Harper (Sharron), and Tony Harper (Sheila); grandchildren, Hunter Harper, Hannah Harper, Karter Harper, and Noah Burdette; special friend and caregiver, Robbie Harper; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Pallbearers will be Alan Harper, Eddie Harper, Tony Harper, David Harper, Daniel Harper, and Lee Burdett.
