Aaron William Haley, age 34, of Northport, Ala., passed away August 30, 2023. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Monday, September 11, 2023, at Magnolia Chapel North and 11:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023. Funeral services will be 12:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at Magnolia Chapel North with Dr. Jerry Wenger officiating. Burial will follow in Williamson Cemetery, Northport, Ala., with Magnolia Chapel North directing. 

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Carol Nelson; and paternal grandparents, Ron and Connie Haley.

Survivors include his wife, Stacey Rebecca Haley; daughters, Madilyn Grace Haley and Elliana Jane Haley; son, Cohen William Haley; sister, Rachel Nelson-Green of Wheeling, WV; brother, Andrew Haley of Wheeling, WV; parents, Timothy Haley (Cynthia Caldwell) of Wheeling, WV and Becky L. Haley of Wheeling, WV; grandfather, Larry Nelson of Valley Grove, WV; father and mother-in-law, James and Terry Magro of Amelia Island, FL; sister-in-law, Kathryn Magro of West Palm Beach, FL; as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Aaron was born on September 13, 1988 in Wheeling, WV. He and Stacey were married September 7, 2013 and would have celebrated their 10-year anniversary this month. He worked for Warrior Met Coal, where he will be greatly missed by his fellow miners. Aaron loved spending time with his family. He loved his wife and kids more than anything in this world. He was the hardest worker and everything that he did, he did for his family. Aaron was kind, loving, generous, funny and would give the shirt off his back to anyone. He loved teaching Cohen baseball, football, fishing, and just “guy” stuff. His two baby girls, Madilyn and Elliana had him wrapped around their fingers. He loved playing kitchen, restaurant and pushing them on their swings. Aaron loved his wife, Stacey, dearly and took the best care of her. He was the absolute best husband, father, son, and an all-around wonderful man.

Pallbearers will be Jeremy Ballentine, Beau Laird, Phillip Stith, Dustin Gray, Bub Sada, and West Meggs.

Honorary pallbearers are his son, Cohen Haley, father, Timothy Haley, and father-in-law, James Magro.
