When a family member or a close friend dies, our pain and grief can be unbearable. We feel helpless. There’s nothing we can do to bring that person back to life. But the Bible gives us real comfort. (Read 2 Corinthians 1:3, 4.)
I am sad that Mr. Jackie is gone from us but I am excited that he has entered Heaven to receive great reward for spreading the good need of Jesus in his unique way. What a blessing he has always been, especially to us at Gordo Elementary School each fall festival.

I was just speaking of Mr. McAteer while watching this years Christmas parade when I said, "I wonder where the train man is. I haven't seen him around lately" Then tonight, my daughter gasped as she held her phone and said shockingly. "Ma, You were just asking about him" so immediately I knew what that meant. I have fond memories of riding on the train with my children when they were small and Mr. McAteer was always patient, kind, loving, peaceful and seemingly had a love for mankind without bias. Thank you for your love.
