Tanya was born on March 29, 1974 in Tuscaloosa, AL. She attended Warrior Academy in Eutaw until the tenth grade when she moved to Greensboro and graduated from Greensboro HIgh School in 1992. She received a degree in nursing from Shelton State Community College and later worked as a nurse at Hale County Hospital. Tanya was also licensed as an EMT and was employed by Hale County EMS as an EMT and most recently as office manager. Tanya had a vivacious spirit and infectious laugh that touched the lives of so many people. Tanya leaves behind many friends but the most important people in her life were family. Her sons were her heart and she lived to give them the best life that she possibly could. She loved taking trips with her boys and one of her favorite places was the beach. Tanya was an amazing sister and was a strong and loyal person and someone that would stand by you through thick and thin. Her beloved Daddy's passing left a huge hole in her life 17 months ago and she is now together again with her "Rock" by her side.
